DORFIA / BUYER GUIDE
Start with the coffee you need.
A focused coffee brief helps connect your roasting or commercial requirements with a relevant sourcing discussion.
1 / Product form and application
Say whether you need green coffee, roasted coffee or another value-added format. Explain whether it is intended for a roasting programme, a brand, hospitality use or distribution.
2 / Origin, species and quality
Include your preferred origin, Arabica or Robusta requirement, target grade and any preparation or sensory criteria. If you are open to alternatives, state which requirements are essential.
3 / Volume and packaging
Specify the amount and unit, preferred pack format and expected purchase frequency. Trial orders and repeat programmes may need different sourcing arrangements.
4 / Destination and timing
Give the receiving country or port, desired delivery window and any required supporting documents. Ask the team to confirm availability and a realistic schedule for the proposed offer.
5 / Evaluate the proposal
Keep the sample, lot reference and agreed specification connected. Review the price basis, delivery responsibilities and offer validity before making a commercial commitment.
